Thank you my beloveds! 💖
I swear I am so close to finishing first son au, I can practically taste it, but I am admittedly breaking my heart a little on the journey, so uh, have this
Buck leaves Chimney in the living room, turning on his heel and walking towards the bathroom.
Silent. Careful. A roaming ghost only there because of unfinished business.
Everything around him goes fuzzy, or maybe it’s him that is blurring, his edges no longer defined or corporeal, stretched too thin by his devastation, now just a tormented thing that isn’t whole because his real body is still in the waiting room at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, caught in limbo, reaching for the heaven of Eddie’s embrace as he’s dragged down by the hell-crafted impossibility of living without him.
No amount of repeating Bobby’s words, Eddie is stable. He made it through surgery. They think he’s gonna pull through, does anything to reassure him.
Buck blinks and he’s in the shower.
Water slides down his body, a wet, sluggish crawl that adapts to the shape of him, its touch not as smooth or as clinging as Eddie’s. It drags away oil and dirt and blood, cleansing his body, but Buck doesn’t feel clean, not in the way he does when Eddie smiles at him or laughs at something he said or showers his son with praise and affection.
The water is tinted red.
Paler than what spilled across cobblestone.
Thinner than what sank into Buck’s skin.
Heavy droplets pound against his face, the spray relentless as it tries to wash away a stain that is stuck in Buck like gnarled roots of a gigantic tree, immovable and eternal.
The world turns to static.
Droplets of crimson heat splattering across his face and neck. Smearing. Caressing. Falling. Metallic. Thick. Holy life stricken, sent to another. An aberration of communion. Communion he took unwilling and undeserving, damning his soul for all eternity.
Everything shimmers back into focus. Warm water and pale grey tile.
Buck watches the clear water possessed with pink strains move down his body and splash down against the tile, rushing towards the drain, swirling, twirling, dancing before it disappears.
Reality wobbles again, what is real and in front of him twisting until it resembles choppy, blaring images that are forever imprinted on his eyelids.
Stickiness of stolen life pooling on skin and fabric. Red so dark it’s black seeping into cracks between the cobblestones. Life leaking out and reaching for Buck. Hurtling towards him even as it fades away. Helpless and frozen, standing still, already wishing he could drain his own heart dry of blood so that red life would stream in Eddie’s veins once again, just like the poet Keats said.

Registered Nurse First Assist in Washington DC: A Key Role in Advanced Surgical Care
The Role and Responsibilities of an RNFA
A Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) is a licensed, registered nurse with advanced perioperative experience and specialized training in surgical assisting. In Washington, DC, RNFAs are critical to many surgical teams, providing essential support to surgeons and ensuring high standards of patient care in the operating room. Their responsibilities may include:
1. Direct Assistance in Surgery: RNFAs work alongside surgeons during procedures, assisting with tissue manipulation, suturing, hemostasis (controlling bleeding), and other tasks to improve visibility and access to surgical sites. They are key contributors to surgical efficiency, helping reduce operative time and potential complications.
2. Preoperative and Postoperative Care: An RNFA may prepare patients before surgery, monitor them during the procedure, and provide critical post-surgical care, aiding in patient recovery and minimizing risks.
3. Intraoperative Decision-Making: Beyond technical skills, RNFAs are trained to make quick, informed decisions during surgeries, ensuring patient safety and addressing complications as they arise.
4. Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: Working with anesthesiologists, scrub nurses, and other surgical staff, RNFAs facilitate effective communication and coordination, crucial for seamless surgical procedures.
Education and Certification Requirements for RNFAs
To become a Registered Nurse First Assist in Washington, DC, an RN must obtain additional training and certification beyond their basic nursing education. Here are the steps:
1. Obtain an RN License: Candidates must first be licensed registered nurses, typically requiring a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Many RNFAs also gain experience in perioperative nursing before moving into a first assist role.
2. Complete RNFA Training: RNFAs must complete a specialized training program approved by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), which includes classroom instruction and clinical practice.
3. Certification: After training, RNFAs may earn a national certification such as the Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA). This credential, though optional, is highly valued in Washington, DC, and demonstrates advanced competency in the field.
4. Advanced Practice Nursing: Some RNFAs further their education to become Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), such as Nurse Practitioners (NPs), allowing them to take on more responsibilities and gain advanced surgical knowledge.
Opportunities and Benefits of Working as an RNFA in Washington, DC
Washington, DC, offers a unique landscape for RNFAs due to its variety of healthcare settings, including top-ranked hospitals, research centers, and specialty surgical clinics. Here are some of the advantages of pursuing an RNFA career in this vibrant region:
1. Diverse Work Environments: With hospitals like MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University Hospital, and Children’s National Medical Center, RNFAs in Washington, DC, have access to state-of-the-art facilities and opportunities to work on high-acuity cases in trauma, oncology, cardiology, and pediatrics.
2. Professional Networking and Development: As the nation’s capital, Washington, DC, is home to numerous healthcare conferences, seminars, and professional organizations, providing RNFAs with valuable networking and continuing education opportunities.
3. Competitive Salaries and Job Security: Due to the high demand for RNFAs and the need for advanced surgical expertise, RNFAs in Washington, DC, earn competitive salaries. According to recent data, RNFA salaries in DC are above the national average, reflecting both the level of skill and the cost of living in the area.
4. Impactful Patient Care: In Washington, DC, RNFAs play a vital role in improving patient outcomes. Their presence in the operating room can significantly reduce surgical times and enhance post-surgical recovery, which is especially important in a city with diverse healthcare needs and a population that includes both residents and high-profile visitors.
Challenges and Considerations for Aspiring RNFAs
While the RNFA role offers many rewards, there are also unique challenges to consider. RNFAs in Washington, DC, often work long, irregular hours due to the nature of surgical schedules and emergency cases. Additionally, the physical and emotional demands of surgical care require resilience, focus, and a commitment to ongoing education and skill enhancement.
The Future of RNFAs in Washington, DC
As healthcare continues to evolve, the role of RNFAs is expected to expand. Technological advancements and an aging population are driving demand for skilled surgical support, and RNFAs are likely to see new opportunities in outpatient surgery centers, private practices, and telehealth-assisted procedures. For nurses considering a challenging yet fulfilling career in perioperative nursing, Washington, DC, offers a robust environment for growth and contribution to high-quality patient care.
Conclusion
The role of a Registered Nurse First Assist in Washington, DC, is both demanding and rewarding, offering experienced nurses a pathway to make a significant impact in the field of surgery. With opportunities for advancement, strong support networks, and access to some of the nation’s best medical facilities, RNFAs in the capital play an invaluable role in delivering life-saving care and improving patient outcomes. As the healthcare landscape continues to grow, the demand for skilled RNFAs in Washington, DC, will remain strong, making it an excellent career choice for those committed to excellence in surgical care.

Ahmed El Khebki Pleads Guilty to Laundering Money
Former Fugitive Ahmed El Khebki Pleads Guilty to Laundering Money Embezzled from Kuwaiti Embassy (STL.News) A Virginia man pleaded guilty today to a money laundering conspiracy involving funds embezzled from the Embassy of Kuwait’s health office in Washington, D.C. According to court documents, from approximately January through September 2014, Ahmed El Khebki, aka Ahmed Khider El Khebki, of Lorton, conspired to launder money embezzled from the Kuwaiti Embassy. El Khebki and his co-conspirators stole money from the embassy’s health office earmarked to pay for medical care for Kuwaiti citizens who traveled to the United States to receive treatment at, among other places, Johns Hopkins Hospital and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. To embezzle and launder the funds, El Khebki and his co-conspirators created fake companies with names meant to mimic actual U.S. healthcare providers, including “Hopiken” and “MedStar.” The co-conspirators then submitted fraudulent invoices to the health office, claiming that they had provided medical services to real Kuwaiti citizens under the auspices of those fake companies. Employees at the health office in the embassy who were in on the scheme approved the invoices and wrote checks to El Khebki and his co-conspirators’ fake companies. During the course of the conspiracy, the health office paid more than $1.5 million in fraudulent invoice. El Khebki personally deposited hundreds of thousands of dollars of stolen funds into accounts he controlled and used the stolen funds to make numerous personal purchases. El Khebki joins two co-conspirators, Wael Sedik, and Huwida Fadl, in pleading guilty to his role in the conspiracy y. El Khebki’s co-defendant and co-conspirator, Hussein Fadl Osman, remains at large. El Khebki pleaded guilty to money laundering g. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 24 and faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison n. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors. Assistant Attorney General Kenneth A. Polite, Jr. of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and Special Agent in Charge Derek W. Gordon of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Washington, D.C. made the announcement. lauren sat on the floor with her legs pulled up to her chin, arms wrapped around her legs. she avoided to look at others who were in the same building. to be at the hospital gave her m e m o r i e s of everything that happened the past few months last year. how her parents did everything they could to protect her & andy, but they could never hide them from the world. the blonde teenager looked up to look at the others as they walked around. she wished that she could travel back in time to save her dad. lauren’s hands raised & formed the force field barrier. she knew it was not wise to do it around everyone but she could not see anyone around & she was bored. it was a risk that the people who were hunting mutants could be in the city, but since she had come to this place she did not try to think about it. she could not live in fear of what could happen.
when she heard footsteps nearby she quickly closed her hands & wrapped them around her legs again. whoever it was probably did not see anything. she jumped up on her feet a few seconds later when she saw a shadow on the wall “hi, do you know how long we are going to be here? i am beginning to worry about if i turned off everything at home” she began to chew on the inside of her cheek.

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is cold.
Buck thinks there must be ice packed beneath the walls and floors, ice that can’t melt, ice that seeps into everything else, cracking and burning with cold, insidious tendrils that latch onto any warmth and extinguish it.
Ice replacing Buck’s blood. Ice covering his skin. Ice encasing his heart.
Even Eddie’s blood has gone cold, no longer offering bright spots of stolen life. It’s drying on Buck’s skin, turning flaky, heavy heavy heavy like he’s been submerged beneath endless liters of it, unable to scream as waves of crimson flood his mouth and nose, slithering into his lungs, covering bone and flesh until Buck is more Eddie than himself, all of it solidifying inside Buck’s body, crystallizing from the cold.
One touch and Buck will shatter into red. His body reduced to the barest particles of his blood combined with Eddie’s, glittering under the fluorescent lights like some kind of gemstone.
A shiver ripples through him. Shaking he can’t control. Trembles that are bone deep. His body desperately trying to conserve any warmth available, to fight the cold that takes life and breath, to learn how to live without the source of Eddie’s heat.

Peace and Love, Black Family! Our enemies should never define black excellence, and anytime it appears to be, so is a moment to teach differently. I don't want our daughters looking up to Ketanji Brown Jackson as a standard of excellence. I am ashamed of her! Yes. I am unapologetically ashamed of her! She is married to Patrick Graves Jackson, a Caucasian surgeon at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. She bore two biracial daughters with him and is now the poster child for Black excellence. Throughout the annuls of time, she will be known for khoons and why-te terrorists alike to spout the illusion of inclusion. In this world of Satan, those who have companions likened to the "beast" are the ones who get recognized...And that is fine! John F Kennedy Jr
Chapter 1 - “ Who is John F Kennedy Jr ?”
Who exactly is John F Kennedy Jr, you ask?
Well his name is John F Kennedy Jr but his full name is John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. He is also known as “John , John,” or JFK Jr, also named after his father. John F Kennedy Jr was the third born child out of four. (Later in this article John F Kennedy Jr will be going by JFK Jr for short.) John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr was born in Washington D.C U.S.A, on November 25 1960 at 12:22 a.m. His mother gave birth to him at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. His father was aboard a boat rushing to Washington D.C to get to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital from Palm Beach Florida. Clint Hill, former secret service, borrowed a plane to get to Washington D.C from Florida to meet JFK Jr as well.
While his father was on the way to Washington D.C to see his newborn baby, he heard over the radio crackle that his son was born at six pound three-ounces with a mound full of dark hair.
But the initial report was misleading, for the infant John Jr., born about three weeks early, had respiratory problems and did not cry at first when the chief of anesthesia held him up by his ankles and slapped his buttocks. But a second-year pediatric resident named Ira Seiler took quick action! Insetting a tube into into the baby’s trachea and he blew air into the lungs then John Jr responded!
He was born just two weeks after his father was elected president. YES! John F Kennedy Jr is the son of one of the youngest former U.S. Presidents , as well as the first Roman Catholic President named John F Kennedy.
John F Kennedy Jr is named after his father - John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The 35th President was also known as President Jack Kennedy, JFK, John F Kennedy, President Kennedy, or John Kennedy. President John F Kennedy was named after his maternal grandfather, Major John Francis Fitzgerald, who also went by Jack, this is also JFK Jr’s great grandfather.
John F Kennedy Sr was 43 years old when little “John, John” was born, and just became the President of the United States two weeks earlier. Here is some history of JFK Jr’s father. President JFK was born into one the America’s wealthiest families and parlayed an elite education and a reputation as a military hero into a successful run for congress in 1946 and for senate in 1952. Kennedy confronted mounting cold war tensions in Cuba, Vietnam, and elsewhere. He also led a renewed drive for public service and eventually provided federal support for the growing civil rights movement. JFK was the second of nine children.
His parents JFK Jr’s grandparents , Joseph Patrick Kennedy Sr , also known as American Businessman , Author, Investor, First Chairman Securities and Exchange Commission ( 1934-1935) First Chairman of The Maritime Commission (1936-1938) US Ambassador to the UK (1937-1941). Also father of Senators Robert F Kennedy and Ted Kennedy. Joseph P Kennedy Sr, was born September 6 1888 in Boston , Massachusetts, USA. Passed away November 18 1969 in Brookline, Norfolk County, Massachusetts due to stroke at age 81. He married Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald ,( Presidents JFK’s mother and JFK Jr grandmother) on October 7 1914 in a modest ceremony in a small chapel at the residence of a Cardinal O’Connell in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald Kennedy born July 22 1890. Eldest child of John F ( “Honey Fitz”) and Mary Josephine Hannon Fitzgerald. She was first introduced to politics as a child when she was five years old. Married to Joseph P Kennedy Sr for 18 years and had nine children together. Joseph P Kennedy Jr born 1915, John 1917, Rosemary 1918, Kathleen 1920, Eunice in 1921, Patricia 1924, Robert 1925, Jean 1928, and Edward in 1932. Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy passed away on January 22 1995 at her home in Hyannis port, she was 104 years old. Joseph and Rose Kennedy were members of two of Boston’s most prominent Irish Catholic political families. Rose was a Author and Papal Countess, she would often sign her name as Countess Rose Kennedy as in 1951 she was made a papal countess by the Pope Pius XII in recognition of her exemplary motherhood and many charitable works. In her teen’s Rose became acquainted with Joseph P Kennedy Sr at Old Orchard Beach in Maine where there families were vacationing together. She was also an American Philanthropist and socialite her quote that she used , “ Bird’s sing after a storm; why shouldn’t people feel as free to delight in whatever sunlight remains to them?” “ Bird’s sing after a {Storm}.”
JFK Jr’s father President Kennedy had persistent health problems through out his childhood and teenage years. Later he was diagnosed with a rare endocrine disorder called Addison’s disease. He married Jacqueline Lee Kennedy on September 12 1953 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Newport, Rhode Island, USA. They had four children together. Yes, JFK Jr’s mother is no other than Jacqueline Lee Kennedy Onassis!
